Year 2!!!, 2023 I'm proudly wearing a Hard Hat again for the Habitat For Humanity Women Build Event this Friday, 3/3, and can't wait! Last year I was on the rooftop nailing in shingles with the team, an incredible experience! The camaraderie, team spirit of the volunteers, builders, sponsors, and generosity of so many donors was heartwarming and one of the best experiences of my life! It's amazing how so many can come together in a collective effort to make an incredible dream happen for a family. This year we are building a home in Delray Beach, FL for a Mother and her 2 children, who unfortunately no longer have a father. This Super-Strong mother persevered and was awarded this opportunity. After working for over a year training with Habitat for Humanity in classes in finance, she has deposited funds in a savings account set up for home funds for the past year, and she has been educated on how to survive financially as a single parent. She showed up with 100% commitment and continues to do so for her children to improve their lives and education. I'm showing up to build and support them in their dream. I hope you can find it in your heart to support them with any donation available to you.
