I’ve always wanted to get involved in Habitat for Humanity and give back to the community. I was a single mom and having a modest home to raise my daughters made all the difference in our lives. We enjoyed family holiday gatherings, friends, a sense of pride, sleepover parties, girl bonding and most of all stability. I have always been handy around the house because I couldn’t afford to pay for a contractor to come out, so I can’t wait to use my hands and get involved in creating something beautiful and a future home for a family!! As you can see below, my girls are all grown up now and I take pride in knowing that they always had a home to call their own, even through the worst of times.
