My Mom and Dad instilled in myself and my sister at a young age that we should always give back to the Community we live in. They were always involved in our home town and found ways to give back to help those in need. When I moved into this Community, I brought with me the spirit of giving back. Habitat for Humanity is new to me this year. I have wanted to be able to participate with this project for many years as I believe deeply in their mission and vision. I am proud to be able to work with an amazing group of women this year to help build a home for a deserving family. I feel this project is filled with optimism and joy, two feelings needed in this world!
