Carla is a proud grandmother, devoted mother, and passionate community member who brings resilience and faith to every chapter of her life. After spending most of her life in Columbus, Ohio, Carla made the tough decision to relocate to Palm Beach County to build a more secure future for her grandson, Lee, whom she is raising. Though relocating has not been easy, Carla knew it was the right move. Since moving in 2022, she’s been seeking a safe and affordable place to call their own. 

For Carla, becoming a Habitat homeowner is a dream come true, one she felt was nearly impossible. She is overjoyed by the opportunity to provide Lee with a stable, nurturing environment where he can grow and thrive. Carla looks forward to putting down permanent roots in a safe neighborhood, meeting her new neighbors, and creating a home filled with love, laughter, and purpose. With gratitude in her heart and hope for the future, Carla is ready to make this house a true home and build a legacy of strength, faith, and opportunity for the next generation.
