Lucille Grubbs was born and raised in Lake Worth, FL, however, her family was originally from Maryland. Lucille is a very caring person who has been a homeowner in Lake Worth since 1995. She learned about Habitat for Humanity from an older gentleman she once cared for in her neighborhood. Lucille saw that he had repairs done to his home and inquired about it. The gentleman gave her the Habitat for Humanity business card he had, and Lucille followed up. She says that Habitat for Humanity has changed her life for the better. “The repair work done to my home motivates me every day and now I know I can live life better.” - Lucille
