New Construction Volunteers

About This Campaign

It takes individuals like you, who are willing to give a day, a month, or several days a year to help turn a truck load of construction materials into a new home for a deserving family. Building a home alongside other volunteers and partner families is a great way to be part of something bigger. Opportunities are available at the construction site; however, availability is limited and priority is given to volunteers linked with a sponsor group.

Volunteers generally participate in construction Wednesday through Saturday, and no construction experience is necessary. You can get involved on a regular basis and become a Crew Leader or get involved as often as your schedule allows.

Build Site Age Restrictions

Under 16 years of age: not allowed on site during any phase of construction

16–17 years old: allowed to participate in construction, but cannot get on the roof or operate power tools

Campaign to Support Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County

Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that works to provide affordable homeownership opportunities for hardworking and deserving families in the cities of Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, and Boca Raton, Florida. We build homes in partnership with families who demonstrate a need for housing and a willingness to work with us to purchase a home of their own. With the help of our generous supporters and volunteers, since our establishment in 1991 we have empowered over 150 families in our community to achieve their dream of owning a safe, decent and affordable home.
