Rebuild Texas: Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund

About This Campaign

In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, Texas is struggling. Bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope is what Habitat for Humanity is all about. Immediate needs of families such as food, clothes, and emergency shelter are necessary and appreciated but what will these families do when it is time to go back and piece their lives back together? Habitat for Humanity will help them rebuild. A donation today will bring hope for tomorrow.

Habitat for Humanity, as an international organization, has responded and provided assistance in the aftermath of natural disasters for over 20 years and partnered with over 230,000 families that have been able to start over with the assistance of the hand up Habitat offers.

Thank you for taking an interest in Habitat for Humanity's Disaster Response program. Every year, natural disasters, war, and civil unrest displace millions of people around the world from their homes.

More information for members of our local community to actually roll up your sleeves by going to Texas to assist the victims of Hurricane Harvey will be shared as soon as the First Responder phase is completed. These opportunities will be in concert with Habitat for Humanity International's large scale Disaster relief response. More information to follow as it becomes available. In the meantime, donations to Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County can provide immediate relief through the network of our 26 Habitat chapters working on the ground in Texas.

Campaign to Support Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County

Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that works to provide affordable homeownership opportunities for hardworking and deserving families in the cities of Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, and Boca Raton, Florida. We build homes in partnership with families who demonstrate a need for housing and a willingness to work with us to purchase a home of their own. With the help of our generous supporters and volunteers, since our establishment in 1991 we have empowered over 126 families in our community to achieve their dream of owning a safe, decent and affordable home.

Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County would like to thank Polen Capital Management for their generous donation of $10,000 to the Hurricane Harvey relief effort! Because of organizations such as Polen Capital, we will be able to reach our goals to assist volunteers and other Habitat for Humanity affiliates to help rebuild communities in Houston and the Gulf Coast. We encourage local businesses, organizations and community members to continue to help support these relief efforts for those in need. #HopeForHouston
