Under its Neighborhood Revitalization (NR) work, Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County offers two different programs to help low-income homeowners preserve and repair their homes at a fraction of the cost. In addition, Habitat partners with local organizations, cities and private funders to provide a holistic approach to improving whole neighborhoods. Habitat's NR community projects have included: neighborhood clean-up and beautification, the creation and placement of historic markers; and curb appeal upgrades for local churches and service organizations.

A Brush with Kindness is a home repair program that helps low-income families improve the cosmetic appearance of the exterior of their homes. Work such as exterior painting, fence repair and yard upkeep is undertaken the cost of these improvements generally range from $2,000 to $5,000.

Critical Home Repair provide more substantial home repair services to those in need. Repairs can cost up to $10,000, ands address livability, health and safety issues such as roof deterioration, termite infestation, and air conditioning, electrical and plumbing deficiencies.
